Our first trip to Arts on Main was January last year at the opening of the market and all I thought about was The Old Biscuit Mill in Cape Town and how glad I was that we had something similar....Today as I post this we have two :) - Arts on Main and Neighbourgoods Market (which is an extension to the Neighbourgoods Market at The Old Biscuit Mill in Cape Town) - Yay Jo'burg!!....Both Arts on Main and Neighbourgoods Market were created as part of the urban revival project in the CBD of Jo'burg...
Arts on Main - The Maboneng Precinct
Arts on main is a little village of made up of galleries, artist studios, a Spa and Yoga retreat - Cocoon, a cinema house -The Bioscope, Hotels - The 12 Decades, Apartments and more. The Market on Main takes place every Sunday where you will find food from all over the world, fashion, books, music, and the oh so famous rooftop bar. Also check out the 12 Decades Hotel and the recent addition to the family The Living Room for some Sunday Jives . More reason to love Arts on Main is because it hosted Fashion week in 2010.....Below are some pics of our day at Arts on Main
Neighbourgoods Market 73 Juta Street
